Happy Friday, worms! I hope everyone is having a healthy and successful end to January 2021. Personally, I’ve learned more about the stock market this week than I ever wanted to know. In between watching the stock market and trying to read, these are some of my favorite bookstagram posts from the past week. Stay safe, everyone!

Side by Side Book Reviews: ANOKA by Shane Hawk
ANOKA by Shane Hawk
The horror community has rallied around this debut collection from Shane Hawk. It released in October of 2020 and has been picking up steam month by month. I noticed it had 55 reviews on Goodreads! Nice number for an indie fiction debut. Night Worms has steadily received review submissions in order to be included in this Side by Side Book Review ever since we tweeted about reading it. We're excited to have some new voices joining us here!
The Horror Horoscope: Mercury is Always in Retrograde
Matt and Richelle back again with another Horror Book Horoscope. A Horrorscope, if you will. We are not astrologers, although Matt did look at the Jupiter/Saturn convergence for a few minutes. We are only doing this for fun and picking horror books that may fit your sign based on the traits given by the internet gods. Please don’t take us seriously. We do think these books are good though!

Hey, worms. Matt here. I just finished Dead Inside by Chandler Morrison right before sitting down to put this list together. But I am broken. I feel like every bit of me has been sullied by that book. Yes, it’s 100% a five-star read but I think my DNA is dirty now. Anyway, here are some cool posts from this week on bookstagram. I hope you like them.
