Happy Friday, Night Worms! It’s getting colder and there is no more perfect book to chill you to the bone than Bone White. This book kills it with suspense, pacing and Malfi’s writing is just *CHEF’S KISS*.  The thing that I love about this book is how subtle the horror is. So many horror authors spend so much time trying to off put readers with blood and guts that they forget how terrifying seemingly ordinary situations can be. Happy Friday Night Worms! Have any of your favorite horror books led you into real life hobbies? If you’ve been around for a minute you know that I am... maybe a little obsessed with witchy books. And those witchy books have led me to do some research on modern day witchcraft. Which non fiction books have you bought because of your horror fiction love? Happy Friday Night Worms!
Get ready, because here I come with an unpopular opinion.

Are you ready?

DREAMCATCHER by Stephen King is a great book. It’s inventive and fun and the friendship between the characters is inspiring. Of course King is a great writer, but this book seems to be pretty decisive among readers. I encourage everyone to give this book a chance when they have time a big old brick of a novel. Are you ready for another unpopular opinion?

Are you sure?

Happy Friday Night Worms! Let’s chat about book to screen adaptations? I’ve had this on my mind since I read THE OUTSIDER by Stephen King. I still haven’t watched the series and I’m not sure if I will because I’m scared it will ruin the boom for me (can you tell I liked that one?).

With the upcoming series THE HAUNTING OF BLY MANOR on the horizon, I want to rewatch THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE. I loved the novel it’s based on by Shirley Jackson and the show...
