Happy Friday Night Worms! I’M BACK, BABY! Did you miss me? Because I missed you all! My family and I are settling nicely into Las Vegas and my reading has picked back up now that I’m not planning a move across the country (funny how that works).
One of the first books I read in 2021 was SLASHVIVOR by Stephen Kozeniewski and Stevie Kopas. I was immediately excited to share it with everyone because it RULES. It is gross and fun and fast paced. It also has a lot to say about poverty...
Happy Friday, Worms! I’ve been sidelined from work with Covid symptoms this week so I’ve been working from home. My test came back negative but it’s still been a week of remote learning for me. In that time, I spent an embarrassing amount of time scrolling through instagram and wanted to share 10 of my favorite posts from the past 7 days. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Stay safe and wash your hands.

Happy Black Friday, Worms! I hope everyone that celebrated had a happy and safe Thanksgiving. I thought that for Black Friday I would share some of my favorite bookstagram posts that feature black books, plus one bonus that I just loved too much not to share. I wanted to take this time to encourage everyone to do your holiday book shopping via your friendly local bookstore. If we want them to stay in business, we need to support them. If you’re like me and live in a place without a local bookstore, check out www.bookshop.org

She has her hands full with twins and the big move so she's taking a little break until she feels settled in her new digs. In the meantime, Matt @teamredmon is taking over with a special edition of Friday Feels: FOLLOW Friday Feels. Bookstagram shoutouts. Give these awesome accounts a follow.

Happy Halloween, Night Worms. If you are anything like me, you love the “treat” part of trick-or-treat. A lot. You like all kinds. Chocolate? Sour? Fruity? Just plain freaking sugar? I am here for it. So I figured I’d put together a completely arbitrary list about what book I think you are, or the book I think you should read, based on your favorite Halloween candy.NOTE: I definitely did NOT write this article solely so I could buy candy to take the photos and then promptly devour it. Definitely not. Not me.
