Friday Feels-Friday the 13th, September 2019

Happy Friday the 13th Night Worms! Since today is Friday the 13th AND a full  moon, I have put together a list of 5 slasher (a la Friday the 13th) or spooky (a la the full moon) books I’ve read this year that would be great to read today! I know that I’m a superstitious gal, so I plan on hunkering down and reading today to avoid any weird or bad things that may happen. So, if you plan on being like me today, check out the list for some fun reads!

John's Review of VIDEO NIGHT by Adam Cesare

Video Night is a book that I’ve seen often on social media lately. Between photos of it at Scares That Care and fellow NightWorms talking about it, I did some further investigation. No sooner than I read the back cover description “John Hughes meets John Carpenter”, did I immediately purchase this book. I wasn’t disappointed.

Night Worms (NW): Okay, perfect! First, a friend on Twitter wants to know how you feel about being a bookmark. I'm assuming that means the one from A STRANGER DREAM. I own one and I have to say, I thought she captured the essence of you so well! The unassuming pose, the hair and of course you're holding my favorite book of yours...

Chad Lutzke (CL): I was very honored to be asked. Karlee's a great artist. It's a bit surreal. I didn't feel very worthy...

Friday Feels- August 23, 2019

Happy Friday, worms! This week I wanted to ramble for a second about Dear Laura by Gemma Amor. Our fearless leader and everyone’s horror mother figure, Sadie aka @mother.horror told me I needed this book and then basically forced me to read it immediately so we could talk about it. She hasn’t let me down with a book recommendation yet and this was no exception. I received the book, started and finished reading it in just about two and a half hours, the entire time messaging Sadie in all caps about different parts of the...
