Last year I read 142 books. To some people, that number is massive and to others, that’s small fries. I was CONSTANTLY reading in 2019. I decided to not give myself a Goodreads reading goal in 2020 because I figured I would keep up my reading pace from 2019. I thought that nothing could ever impact the way I read. I mean, I have twin toddlers and I still get a decent amount of reading done. Like a lot of people, I have struggled with depression for a long time....

I didn’t realize that I had developed a reputation.
In July, the Night Worms team asked me to write a blog post about werewolves. In August, my family gave me werewolf gloves, feet, and a mask for my birthday. Two weeks ago, while driving to Salem, my husband blasted a ten-minute track of nothing but werewolves howling. And just last week, my brother-in-law randomly texted me to ask why werewolves sometimes eat hearts.
Apparently, I have developed a furry, teeth-gnashing, guttural growling, howl-at-the-moon kind of reputation. And...
They stalk through summer camps, abandoned hospitals, rundown schools, and isolated houses, hunting anyone foolish enough to visit these places, leaving behind carnage, terror, death, and destruction. Sometimes, there are survivors. Always, there is blood.
And they do it to protect and preserve all of existence across the Multiverse.
