THERE ARE ORANGE LEAVES ON THE GROUND PEOPLE! You know what that means, right? That means it is that spooky time of year that always makes me want to read classic horror, like Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein! It’s the perfect book to get you into that scary mindset. What’s scary and amazing about Frankenstein is that Mary Shelley wrote it when she was eighteen years old and it was published when she was twenty. That’s right! That classic horror we all love so much was written by a teenager. When it was first published it was not exactly welcomed with the highest of reviews. But, obviously, it did receive some high acclaim. Not only did we all read it in high school, but Thomas Edison even made a one reel, 15-minute horror movie off of Frankenstein. It was thought to be the first horror film ever made. You can watch it by clicking the link below.
