We have two cover reveals from Cemetery Gates today! First up,

SAWTOOTH by Steph Nelson

Cover Art: Luke Spooner

Release Date: November 21st, 2023

Taryn planned for an easy out and back hike into the Sawtooth Mountains to scatter her wife's ashes. Gemma had been the outdoorsy type, while Taryn preferred the city, though an alpine lake at the end of the trail held a special place for them both. They had spent time together there in that forest, Gemma spinning campfire tales of the things that made a home in the dark. Little did Taryn know that when she entered those mountains to fulfill her final marital duty, she would be in for the fight of her life against a supernatural predator known as the Sawtooth. And the Sawtooth was no legend...

A lifelong PNW girl, Steph Nelson currently lives in Boise, Idaho, with her husband and their two teens. Her short fiction appears in Dark Matter Presents: Human Monsters and Mother: Tales of Love and Terror. Both are Bram Stoker-nominated anthologies. Her debut novel, The Vein, is available through Dark Matter INK, and her next horror novel, The Threshing Floor, is forthcoming in November 2024, also through INK. Sawtooth is her first novella. When Steph’s not working on her next story, she’s devouring horror, thriller, and even romance books. Or taxiing her teens around town for their sports and social lives. Some fates are worse than death and some fears are greater than loyalty…

Ali Seay lives in Baltimore with her husband and kids and the ghost of a geriatric wiener dog who once ruled the house. She’s the author of Go Down Hard, To Offer Her Pleasure, and Hysteria: Lolly & Lady Vanity. Her work can be found in numerous horror and crime anthologies.
