Okay, guys, the best time of year is HERE: FALL! Here are 10 books that will creep you out in October. Set the mood! Light those candles! Hex someone!!!

  1. Salem’s Lot by Stephen King (not pictured) A vampire story - unsettling and scary.

  1. Dark Harvest by Norman Partridge - Can the boys of 1963 survive October Boy on Halloween night? This book is full of gore!

  1. Halloween Fiend by CV Hunt - Strang is a town haunted by a creature referred to as Halloween. Each night, a small offering must be made to Halloween to keep things civil!

  1. Pork Pie Hat by Peter Straub - Another Halloween night story! This novella is short and sweet but packs a punch.

  1. The Halloween Tree by Ray Bradbury - The Halloween Tree is actually a middle-grade book that takes you on a journey around the world exploring how different cultures and countries celebrate Halloween.

  1. Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman - Everyone needs some witchy magic on their Halloween tbr!! A classic.

  1. The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson - My personal favorite haunting! Spend the night at Hill House and prepare for some creepy activity.

  1. Brother by Ania Ahlborn - Ania will make you question everything you know about life. This book is INSANE and it's everything you didn't know you needed.

  1. Forest Underground by Lydian Faust - A psychological horror story with a Little Red Riding Hood vibe!!

  1. Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice - Looking for a poetic, a beautifully written vampire tale? A slow burn but worth it.
