I rarely buy books at the Goodwill anymore (I have plenty of books to keep me busy) but if I was low on cash or had a small book budget, the Goodwill can actually be a great resource for finding good, cheap books. These are my favorite, highly recommended reads that are currently in my 2019 Goodreads Challenge. There are 64 books on that list and of the 64, these ones are stellar 5 star reads. Thoughts on my first childhood horror (suggestion from author Alan Baxter)

One Halloween, my dad took me and my sisters out trick-or-treating around town. There was one house that always decorated for Halloween and they went all out. My sisters were too scared to go up the small walkway to the porch. We all stood at the entrance and really scoped the place out to see if the candy would be worth the trouble of being scared.
