Typically, I try to have a live-chat with an author so that our conversation can organically go where it wants to and I can feed off their responses in order to formulate the next question but in the case of Hunter Shea and myself, our schedules were just not lining up. I did suggest we pray to the Horror Gods to see if the stars and planets would align just so but Hunter thwarted my efforts by showing me a far simpler solution: Emailing my questions. D.W. Gillespie has surprised the hell out of me with his latest novel, One by One. It’s a wonderfully written horror that takes a simple idea and manages to make it both terrifying and surprising.

A few months ago, while looking through all of the books Flametree press had up for sale on their website, I noticed Hellrider. One look at the demon on that motorcycle and I was immediately sold on this book. I wanted to love Hellrider. I NEEDED to love Hellrider.
