Happy Friday Night Worms! This might sound weird, but after a long week, I like to sit down and read some good ole fashioned gory horror. One of my favorite horror sub-genres for this is body horror. Body horror is a sub-genre where the main feature is the graphically depicted destruction or degeneration of a human body. You may be surprised at what is considered body horror that you have already read. The Ruins, The Troop, Annihilation, The Hellbound Heart, Off-Season, and Geek Love just to name a few popular books in the body horror genre. All of them are great books that I can definitely recommend! If you like to unwind with body horror as I do, check out one or all of these books!
