For this month's Creature Feature article, I decided to focus on sea monsters. I went into this having read some Peter Benchley books when I was younger but other than that, I'd only read three of these before this article. I was lucky enough to discover Severed Press, an independent publisher that focuses on the apocalypse and creature horror. Creature Feature: Vampires

This year, I will be reading as many books about monsters and creatures that I can. Each month, I will focus on a different type of monster and reporting my results in a series of articles. For January, I decided to read vampire books. I wanted to focus on lesser-known and indie titles for these articles, so if I don't include a classic in my run down, forgive me.
