I don't always read horror… sometimes I read… YA horror.

Do you ever need a break from the truly terrifying (and oftentimes disgusting) topics? Well, I do... so I've got a solution. Add some YA* horror to the mix. Here are 7 books categorized as YA horror that I absolutely loved and 3 that I'm dying to read:

*YA = young adult.

7 YA horror books I’ve read and loved (in no particular order):

The Night Worms review team got together to do another book party and this time we read WHISPERS IN THE DARK by Laurel Hightower. I just have to say as the person that compiles all of these blurbs for the Night Worms book parties, I have never seen so many exclamation points in the reviews I’m pulling quotes from. Here's the challenge:

I arrived at my vacation destination and I realized that I forgot to pack books. One of my favorite vacation activities is reading by the pool! I'm also on a tight budget because this hotel was a little on the expensive side. What to do?

Hit up the local Goodwill Retail Store! (Any thrift store will do but Goodwill stores have sizable book sections) The most important part of this challenge is that it's February, Women in Horror Month so I also want to read in unity with the Horror Community. Let's see what I found...
